Sessions begin Sunday, September 17, 2023

The Elementary Faith Formation program for children in preschool through 6th grade meets weekly on Sundays at Saint Monica Catholic Academy, 609 10th Street, Beaver Falls. Sessions are from 10:30-11:45 AM, this allows families to attend the 9:00 AM Mass together at St. Monica with travel time to the school. Our first session is Sunday, September 18, 2022.

We are delighted to once again offer Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 1, a hands-on formation program for children in preschool and kindergarten. Faith formation at this age is optional in our diocese, but is recommended at any age to help us grow in love for Jesus and his Church.

Children in Grades 1-6 attend traditional Religious Education/CCD classes. Formal faith formation for these grades is required in our diocese, and two years of formation–typically in Grades 1 & 2–is necessary before receiving First Holy Communion.
